App of the Week – NoWait

NoWait_logo_color2When you’re hungry nothing is more frustrating than getting to a restaurant and finding there’s a wait to be seated. Do you move on to another restaurant and possibly find another wait list? That’s why NoWait is the App of the Week.

Using your location NoWait maps out nearby establishments and lets you know how long before you have to wait to stuff your face! The app will request your phone number to put you in touch with a few restaurants to put your name on their list. We used to call this a reservation. If you decline to give your phone number  you just get a list or map of local restaurants.

The app works best with restaurants that are also using the app. But it appears that the bigger chain restaurants have already begun to adopt the technology including Buffalo Wild Wings, Chili’s and Friday’s.

NoWait is free and available on Apple and Android devices.
